To create the bohemian and dramatic design of the house inspired by the midcentury modern style, an Italian parquet made of mutenya wood was used on the all floors.
Eucalyptus veneer, which creates a contrasting color with this parquet, is the main material of the walls and doors. For example, the kitchen has a dark green eucalyptus coating designed by escapefromsofa. The marble in the kitchen was purchased from Bianco Carrara.
The sofa in the upper living room is Cassina’s Soriano, the side tables are also Cassina, and the middle coffee table is escapefromsofa design. The pedestal black lighting is from DCW’s Mantis series. The parquet flooring here was chosen from Parkfloor.
The big artwork on the wall belongs to Çağatay Odabaş. The artwork on the console is by Sevim Kaya. The material of the staircase banister on the upper floor is very different: it is made of Iranian travertine. A wall was created with the walnut veneer in front of the banister. The sofa downstairs is by Ceccotti, and the chairs are by Pierre Jeanneret.
