Located on Istanbul’s prestigious Bağdat Avenue, escapefromsofa’s Tusa & Co. restaurant project aims to create a lively and inviting dining atmosphere. This 120 m² space combines an interactive open kitchen concept with contemporary interior design, providing guests with a dynamic and engaging culinary experience.
The restaurant’s layout features a dual-function kitchen with an open cooking area and a separate enclosed section for preparation and staff tasks. The open kitchen is designed as the focal point, resembling a stage where guests can observe and interact with the cooking process, enhancing the overall dining experience.
Escapefromsofa used a modern design approach with natural wood paneling on the walls, crafted with various techniques for added texture and warmth. Fine Carrara Neolith flooring, brass metal detailing, bold colors, and striking graphic elements contribute to the space’s lively and refined aesthetic. The interior accommodates 26 seats, while the 35 m² terrace offers additional seating for 28, maximizing the restaurant’s capacity.
Custom furnishings designed by escapefromsofa are paired with iconic Foscarini pendant lamps, adding a touch of sophistication and completing the restaurant’s vibrant yet welcoming ambiance.
